GP Birla Scholarship Eligibility Criteria: Who can apply?
To apply for the GP Birla Scholarship, you must:
- Be a resident of West Bengal or Jharkhand
- Have passed Class 12 (Higher Secondary) in 2025
- Have scored:
- 85% or above in WBCHSE/JAC Board
- 90% or above in CBSE/ISC Board
- Your family income should be below ₹3,00,000 per year
(Relaxation may be given for exceptionally talented students) - Be enrolled in or planning to enroll in a recognized undergraduate course in India.
Scholarship Amount, Award & Benefits
Selected students will receive up to INR 50,000 for tuition and hostel fees (if applicable) during their studies. Additionally, a one-time amount of INR 7,000 will be provided for buying books in the first year. This scholarship can be availed for up to 4 years.
