Swami Vivekananda Scholarship: Important Updates on Application Sanctioned and Disbursed
The Swami Vivekananda Scholarship fund Allocation and Disbursement Process has begun and money has already been deposited in the accounts of some students.
To check your application status:
- Login to the SVMCM portal [https://svmcm.wb.gov.in/] with your registered Application ID and password.
- Check your application status on the dashboard . If the status is “Sanctioned” or “Disbursed”, your money will be deposited in the bank soon.
- You may not receive SMS: In some cases, students may not receive SMS about receiving money, so it is important to check the dashboard directly.
When will the money Credit in the bank account?
- Typically, the money is deposited into the bank account within 48 hours of being sanctioned.
- However, there may be delays due to weekends (Saturday/Sunday) or other holidays .
- That is, if your money has been cleared, it will be in your bank account within a maximum of 2-3 days .
What to do if the Scholarship doesn’t come?
If the money has been sanctioned but does not reach the bank within the stipulated time, then:
- Contact your bank first .
- If there is any issue related to KYC, please correct it .
- Check the status regularly on the SVMCM portal .

When will the next lot arrive?
Important update for those whose applications have not yet been approved:
- Typically, new lots of funds arrive every two to three weeks .
- After the funds arrive in the last week of February, the process of sanitizing new lots will begin again in the second or third week of March.
So those who have not received the money yet, be patient and check the SVMCM portal regularly.
